We FINALLY shipped out the
Anthropologie holiday order the other day. Hooray! We have been fortunate enough to have been selling to them on again/off again ever since we started the company in 2004 - but still, I never get used to the amount of work it takes. Thankfully, we always have fun while we're at it, ie: music, snacks, friends (our employees), and lots of caffein. So much goes into making that many cards by hand. First, you have to buy lots of yardage of vintage fabric, fold each card by hand after you get the printed, cut, and scored cards back from the printer, then you have to count out envelopes in groups of four, cut ribbon, cut fabric, paste fabric, sort finished cards with envelopes, tie each 4-pack of cards together with ribbon, place packs into clear sleeves, stick label for branding on the back, place the price and bar code sticker on the bottom right hand corner of each pack. And lastly, you have to double check and triple check the order to make sure that each and every card is perfect. Phew! I'm getting tired just writing all of that!
Below are pictures of Peter and Erikah hard at work. How cute are they?
